I cannot recommend Timperley Motors highly enough. I have been a customer for 20 years and know Chris to do a thorough, highly skilled, timely and professional job. Unlike others in the industry he is honest, helpful and doesn't rip you off.

If I find a good garage I normally keep it to myself . Otherwise they won t be available when I need them. I m going to make an exception here. Founded in the 60’s by Me Vernon Chris’ father this establishment is top of their field. Chris is a first rate mechanic and motor technician. It’s a husband and wife team. To be honest if you want to talk cars speak to Chris. If you want assistance booking, settling up or with the paperwork Janine is your woman. They are not the cheapest on price but they are the best value for money in town. I tried the big boys at the dealership once. Never again. After spending a fortune on what seemed like a simple job I had to have the RAC out who noted a potential catastrophic failure when a mounting bolt hadn’t been tightened up causing a failure of the suspension arm whilst on the move. I stress this was a dealership NOT Timperley motors. With Timperley motors they will never recommend work that doesn’t need doing. Top notch, no nonsense service and all with quality parts. No broken promises or hidden costs. I m not old but I am old school. I like traditional service at an affordable price with quality assured. At Timperley motors “service provider” is a by word. I ve been a customer for almost 30 years since Mr Vernon was front of house. Never been let down or disappointed . If you forced me to make a criticism at gunpoint , I d say you have to book ahead. Like any good craftsmen they are not available at short notice. There’s nothing not to like about this family business who have been serving the motoring community in Manchester since my father passed his test.
Big thanks to chris and jan once again for great service as usual especially fitting me in at short notice for repair which was very much appreciated would always reccomend timperley motors every time
Brilliant Service yet again from CHRIS
I always use Timperley motors for everything. I've had services, MOTs & repairs all done with Chris and every time he has been so professional & well priced for his expertise. I will continue to use & recommended.
We moved into the area 3 years ago and needed to find a local garage (I was fed up travelling to Oldham to get our two VW Ups serviced and MOTed). I found Timperley Motors and noted the "Buy with Confidence" and "Trust my Garage" awards and this gave me some confidence. I found Chris and his wife Jan very friendly and helpful and they instilled me with confidence.
Friendly, polite staff, informed of possible causes of aircon not working on arrival. Car ready for collection approximately three hours later, with aircon ice cold. Would definitely recommend and use again. 5 stars.
As always another great service from Chris and Jan the reviews say it all wouldn’t go anywhere else Thanks
Serviced and refurbished my BRC LPG system on my Jaguar XJ8. Excellent and friendly service from Chris and Jan, would highly recommend.
I have used Timperley Motors for many years I have found both Chris and Jan to be very helpful and friendly and also Chris will not tell you that work needs doing if it doesn't very trust worthy and honest
Excellent service once again
In my opinion, I trust Chris and Jan Vernon (the owners) implicitly. They are kind, considerate and very efficient. They are also very honest in accessing the work to do and carrying it out. In a word totally trustworthy & good value for money.
I have never known a garage as good as this. Excellent quality work done, very good price and Chris and Jan are both friendly and professional. My family use this garage for their needs too. I cannot recommend Timperley too highly. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Have used this garage for twenty five years at least.with cars and latterly the above vehicle. I would say that recommendation speaks for itself.
Great garage work within your time scales
Chris & Jan Vernon are excellent people to deal with & always do Avery good job on my car for me.
My wife and I have used this family firm for 40 years. We trust them implicitly. They are consummate professionals who will tell you if work is not required, and do any required work in an extremely professional and knowledgeable manner. They are courteous, friendly and customer service is their absolute priority. If you need a local garage for any work on any type of car do not hesitate to use them.
Excellent service every time. Quality work at the best price. My father came here and I do too. Very approachable and friendly; professional work. Cannot recommend or rate this garage too highly.
Excellent quality of service, from friendly and efficient staff. Always my first choice for any work my car requires.
I have used Timperley Motors for car and commercial vehicle servicing and repairs for many years. Always found them friendly, reliable and utterly trustworthy, which I could never say about a main dealer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for excellent customer service, which is a rare commodity these days.
