Have used Ashton's for years, 100% reliable and trustworthy family run business. Always communicate findings if anything found beyond original reason for service/repair. Will also advise if work is not required to pass MOT i.e. future tyre change date if still legal. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I had an oil leak and had been quoted a large cost to repair. Ashton solved the problem quickly and at fraction of the cost. Very impressed.

Outstanding service. At one day's notice, they re-gassed the air conditioning on my imported camper van, which was a difficult job due to the air conditioning being unused for years. They also, unseized the compressor and fitted new belt and also changed the oil and filter. This is the first time I've used Ashtons Workshop and they were my heroes today.

Really impressed with Ashton's - helpful, professional, good value and the car clearly enjoyed the service. I've used other garages on recommendation but have not been impressed - only regret it's taken me five years to become a very happy customer.

These guys are first class. They talk to you in a language you understand, do the work as agreed at the price agreed and are very very helpful. I can't rate them high enough!!

I called this garage after being told by Toyota there was noise coming from my engine and I needed to replace the alternator and leaking water pump. Ashton's said straight away that it was likely that only the water pump would need replacing as they had come across this problem recently. They wanted to take a look to confirm that was the case. As I was passing that way I went in and asked how soon they could take a look at it. They checked it straight away and confirmed the alternator was fine and did not need replacing, it was just the water pump that had a leak. I booked the repair straight away, got a phone call to say work completed and all is fine and the car was delivered back to me. All of this done in 2 days. I would not hesitate to recommend this garage. They were polite, knowledgeable, friendly and honest. They explained exactly what needed to be done. The price and service excellent. Ashton's get my 5 stars and I will use them again. Thank you!

As is the common theme with these guy's, I've used them before to fix an electrical problem that 3 other garages couldn't fix over a 2 year period. They ID'd it and fixed in 1/2 a day. They're excellent. Friendly, approachable and non-patronising for non-mechanical people (like me). I can't recommend them enough.

These guys are excellent. I had a really frustrating knock in the rear of a Hyundai Coupe and had already spent time and money trying to fix it, owners club forum confirmed that the noise is common but many people had failed to find the cure. In one visit Ashtons identified the source of the noise (lightly worn anti-roll bar bushes)one return visit later and the noise was gone. I also took the opportunity to have brakes improved. The service is always quick, estimates are spot on and there are no nasty surprises. I have recommended Ashtons to others and will continue to so. First class.

Great Service. Down to earth and realistic. Did the job on time and as they said they would. I found them while driving by one day, so I'm a new customer. Will definitely be using their services from now on.
