I dropped in as I was on holiday & driving through the area when my ABS/traction control sensor light came on & there was a related issue with the power steering. The staff were very friendly & accommodating even though they were busy. They ordered & fitted the part the same day. Many thanks.

Have used A M Cars for several years. Always courteous and helpful, never patronising. Fair price for excellent work, and always obliging with small problems even if you turn up without an appointment. Would recommend unreservedly.
Fabulous customer service, fast and efficient diagnostics and repair and a great price - they even washed my car for me! Absolutely recommend this team and this is now my go-to garage of choice for my Volkswagen Golf.
Have used this garage for 14 years since moving to Somerset. Excellent. Always accommodating.
A M Cars always have answers to any problems I have had over many years, while main dealerships have struggled to answer many questions. Since I've been buying the same model, since the mid-1970s, I've never been treated as a loyal customer by the brand, hence the reason I use A M Cars. The customer always comes first.
First time we have used them and the experience was excellent. They picked up on a possible service issue that we fortunately already had covered but didn't show in the service book and took the time to tell us about things to watch over the coming year.
Extremely helpful. Great advice. Will definitely use in the future.
Friendly staff.
Have been loyal customers for 8 years, with RS4 and Mini classic.
Since having this repair my car has been so much better to drive. My daughters car has now also been repaired. I am very happy with both jobs and with the cost of repairs being reasonable. I would highly recommend A M Cars. Everyone is so helpful too.
Always very helpful over various problems with both our vehicles, nothing is too much trouble.
Friendly and very efficient.
Very helpful.
It's good to have a local garage you feel you can trust.
I came in, in a hurry, looking for a bulb for the headlight. I was back on the road in less than 10 minutes.
I originally went to this garage as I needed new back and brake light bulbs. I called in one lunchtime, and they replaced them straight away, which was brilliant. I was also looking for a garage in Ilminster as my MOT was due and I had changed my place of work since the last test, also my old garage was no longer convenient. When I mentioned this after the bulbs were replaced, I was amazed to find I could book the car in within the coming week. I needed to have the windscreen replaced, and some other work done to pass the MOT test, and I found the garage extremely flexible when the windscreen company let me down and needed to complete their work later in the week. The garage also kept costs to a minimum, while completing the work required to top standards. I was very nervous about finding a new garage to take my car to as I have no idea about mechanics, and I am very aware that they could tell me anything about my car I wouldn't have a clue whether they were telling me the truth. However, I now know I have found a garage I can rely on. Additionally, they took me to work when I left the car with them, and when I collected the car I found they cleaned the outside of the car so that it gleamed! Thoroughly impressed. Thanks very much!
