John Oates Garage Ltd

Thank you for a professional and honest service.

Very pleasant staff and quick service.

I can not recommend this garage highly enough, as a woman it is quite a daunting experience finding a garage you can trust and feel comfortable with but John Oates garage is brilliant. It is a family run and even Spot the dog comes to say hello when you visit. John & Shirley are very friendly and when I recently put my car in for an MOT there was bad news as quite a lot of work needed doing, but John went ouf of his way to try and help me and keep the cost down. He also did the work urgently as the MOT expired the next day. For helpful, friendly service at a garage you can trust you must go here!

Staff were very helpful and fitted in the work at short notice.

Overall very good.

Excellent service throughout.

As always courteous, efficient and friendly. Trust john implicitly. great service in this day and age.

I work all across the North West and I found it difficult to get back on time to pick up my car after I was told it was ready. Very grateful for you guys for bringing it home.

Extremely competent and trustworthy.

Very helpful, honest and can be trusted.

I was escorted to this garage by an recovery company mechanic after a breakdown. Mr Oates diagnosed the problem and fitted a new alternator within the hour, but more than that, I had been told by another garage that the noise coming from my engine was due to the big end. I have a new alternator and no engine noise thanks to Mr Oates.

I used this garage under the advice of a recovery company patrol man, who highly recommended them. I am not local and have been looking for a reliable, trustworthy, well priced garage for some time. I have to say I think I have found one. The first thing that jumped out at me was the friendliness, helpful and polite attitude of John (the owner), something that you don't usually get with garages. I found that garages can be very patronising and rude. This was a very small job John was doing, but I felt as if it didn't matter. He assured me he would keep me informed and would not run up a large bill (as our car is not worth a great deal) and he would constantly keep me informed. I received a call exactly when he said he would ring and told me my car was ready and that he had found the problem. He then charged me exactly what he said he would. But I have to say this was more than that. The garage had a family run, friendly feel, was very clean and well kept. When I dropped my car off, my children were even made to feel welcome (which I might add was a Saturday). All in all I could not recommend this garage highly enough and will definitely be using again (if I need to). If this is an example of garages that are on the Good Garage Scheme, then this one is a credit to your name. You should feel rest assured they are a good representation of your scheme with your name above their doors. Many thanks. Kind regards.

Realistic advice and very helpful.

The quality of the service I received from this garage was second to none. I had broken down in a strange town and without the help of John and his staff would still be there now. They kept me fully informed at all times when repairing my car and even went so far as to help me find accommodation whilst it was being repaired. Fantastic level of service and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Thanks again.

Very helpful, happy bunny :)

Reliable, honest, trustworthy. I don't feel cheated or conned like I have done at other garages. Would recommend to anyone.

I was extremely pleased. The work was carried our promptly and to a high standard. Staff were friendly. Cost was very reasonable.

They are the best.

They are really friendly, trustworthy and honest.

John and his staff are so helpful and kind! John goes out of his way to help me. When I broke down, he took me home and even unloaded my shopping - their service is second to none.
