The car was booked in for an interim service and MoT. The work was completed on time and I was contacted to confirm this. Useful information provided regarding brake wear and condition of brake fluid etc as well as advisories on MoT. All staff very polite and helpful , and sensible prices.
It helps having a bona fide independent body ensuring the standards of non franchise service centres. More needs to be done to promote the work these centres can do without invalidating any existing warranty - you may not get a car wash and valet but there is nothing wrong with the service and it will invariably cost less than going to the franchise dealer.
