Mike seamed honest and genuinely interested in the history of the car and what was required in the service. Even though some garages advise me that this model required cam belt change every four years Mike pointed out that the service book only quotes milage.Also the only garage to tell me that with long life oil, on my milage it's not necessary to change it every year.so im impressed.

I have used this garage for a number of years now to carry out all work on my golf. I was not satisfied with the service I was receiving from the main VW dealer locally and was very happy to have Progress Motors recommended to me. Service is prompt. Staff are keen and honest. Work is explained way past what you get at the main dealer. They are also well connected on the web with regards to reminders, emailed copies of invoices. I could go on and on .....
this garage delivers a service that is second to none, always willing to help and explain what and why a car has problems , a price cannot always be told as the nature of the work is not always straight forward but mike will call before he does any work to make sure that its ok to carry on or come up with a solution that maybe cheaper. a garage worth going to.
