Sunniside Garage

Actually booked in for a service on 5th March. Due to a noise coming from the engine I called in to Sunniside Garage for a check. Immediately took it in to do repairs and the service , I was impressed that they could fit me in. Old fashioned garage with great service and attitude.

First class job. Very friendly and professional.

Started off really well and the people are nice people. They however put an inexperienced worker on my vehicle. A 1 day estimate of workload turned into 2 weeks, £500 turned into whats kicking on £2000 and 2 months later the car is not right. I have no doubt the lad will end up a good mechanic but I'm the one that has paid for his training and its cost me almost everything i have. The garage do nice things like put air fresheners in your car and wash it... but do not admit to the many errors and mistakes they have made along the way and are very sneaky in how they make you feel its 'just one of those things' when they make blatant mistakes. Some of the work was good but they also made some pretty serious blunders despite my absolute patience and willingness to give them space. Never again.

The staff are great and helpful. A small set-up, but great people to work with. You don't see this very often anymore.

As always the staff are very courteous and helpful. I was offered a courtesy car until my car was ready to be returned to me, but as this was not needed I was collected from my home and taken to the garage when my car was ready for collection. My car was washed inside and out when I collected it. As always the service was excellent and I always recommend this garage to friends and colleagues.

A full valet which was done well, inside and out, free.

I have found this garage to be efficient and reliable - and on occasions when I have been unable to drive to the garage, the staff have always been available to visit my home on the same day.

This is the best garage I have ever been to in my entire life. The staff and mechanics treat you like a king! The work is done by true professionals and up to the highest standards. You get far more for the money you pay. All other garages should send their mechanics to Sunniside Garage and learn from them on how to treat customers, because they show you respect. I cannot thank you enough and I was pleasantly surprised when I got in my car after my service and found a bottle of wine sitting there. You now have a customer for life. Thank you.

Excellent service by all concerned. When the vehicle was ready, I was escorted to my car by the manager. The door was opened for me and I was given a handshake - you don't get that with the big multi outlets. I have already obtained a price for a new electric window winder to be worked on in July.

Dougal is always so helpful and accommodating.
