I have used forum motors for several years now and like the previous review I had a noise coming from the front wheel, Stuart ( the owner) checked the car out but no problem found. Possibly a bit of grit between pad and disk. No charge. I have all my repairs done by them now, save in the knowledge that I won't be ripped off and the work I have done is to a high standard with genuine parts. Highly recommended to anyone.
I have always used the Good Garage Scheme previously, but the 2 local garages did not have any up-to-date reviews, and one of them didn't even get back to me when I left a message. I decided to try Trust My Garage, and Forum Autos looked good, and is local. I was not happy with the way my vehicle was running, and I was having problems with it staring when the engine was at in-between temperatures between cold and fully warmed-up. There was also an annoying squealing coming from one of the wheels. I explained all this to the boss at Forum Autos. I did not need my vehicle for a while so they looked at it over a couple of days but they couldn't find anything wrong. They ran all the usual computer diagnostics, and took it out for a couple of drives, but nothing obvious was showing. When I came to pick up my vehicle, they explained all this. Because they hadn't done any actual repair work, they did not charge me. They wouldn't even let me pay for their time. So the charge was £000.00. But regardless of this, the vehicle seems to be running much better, and I have peace of mind that they've had a good look at it, and there's nothing wrong that could be dangerous. I really recommend them based on my experience, and I will definitely be using Forum Autos for my MOT, servicing and repair work in the future.
