I took my Golf into Abbey Autos because I was having an issue with the bonnet of my car. They were very accommodating, friendly, and fixed the issue free of charge! I would definitely recommend taking your car here no matter what the issue.
I have used Abby Autos for a few years now and have always found them friendly, helpful and honest. I've just purchased a BMW 5 Series and noticed some noises coming from the engine and suspension and spoke to Dave the owner and he said to bring it in and he'd have a look. Dave checked out the noise to the engine and located a loose air filter box. He was unable to fix this there and then so I brought it back the next day so he could fix it and look at the suspension on the ramp. It turned out the suspension was ok which was a relief and he fixed the air filter box and now the engine sounds much better. I had told Dave the car was under a warranty from the dealer who had said to call them so they could pay for any repairs however Dave said not to worry as it was not much work however he had still spent some time location the noise and inspecting the suspension. He refused to take any payment for his time and I am relieved there are no major problems with the car. I'd definitely recommend Abbey Autons if you are looking for a trustworthy and helpful mechanic service.

Took my car to another garage for MOT. Must've seen me coming. Had a torrid visit and left feeling very down. Then took the car back to Abbey (where I shouldve gone in the 1st place) and Dave and the team serviced and mot'd it again. It passed and on top of that was a very reasonable price. I'm afraid they're now stuck with my mondeo as Il be taking it there from now on. Customer service is so important these days. I simply can't praise Abbey Autos enough
