J Day staff are always helpful and even though my car had more wrong with it than originally thought, they got the parts fitted so I had my car back that day. Having a female receptionist was a great asset.

After some poor quality repair and bish bosh at 2 local garages, I was absolutely delighted, beyond words to fall into the superb hands and care of James Day Engineering. My old Peugeot 205 seemed almost ready for the scrap yard. She was so tired and clanking with 2 scary breakdowns on the A30 within a week. She has however now been totally revived, all of the shake, rattle and roll gone. Back to full working order with my confidence fully restored that she is once more reliable and running smoothly on the road. Returned, clean and smelling fresh too by this wonderful team. They also did their utmost to keep costs down without compromising on quality. Am a very happy customer who will without hesitation travel many miles back to them for any future work needed.

In this day and age you have to look for service and economy. I was pleasantly surprised at the hourly rate and helpfulness of the manager. Gave me a price and stuck to it. I will definitely use J Day again.
