Recently had my Q5 remapped and in the first three minutes of my test drive after the difference was incredible not only the mid range power increase but the difference in the movement between gears on my manual gearbox was so much more forgiving and the car was so much more responsive by the extra Torque. Also the fuel economy I think is much better as as long as I drive the same as I did before the car doesn’t burn as much fuel. Absolutely recommend it if you are thinking about it !!
First time having any vehicle re-mapped and celtic tuning was recommended to me & I've got to say I wasn't dissappointed, my audi a4 feels much more responsive and a smoother drive all round. I've not really noticed any better fuel economy as yet as I'm still enjoying the extra power I have. Will be 100% be visiting again
Can’t fault Celtic at all. Really good service. I dropped my car in for a stage 1 and took around 1.5 hours. Came away with what felt like a completely new car!
Very OEM+, only feels quicker if your foot is planted, so still very sensible and reasonable until you actually require the power. Power delivery is linear, no turbo surging or anything, just very smooth performance. Also ridiculously cheap compared to other tuners, I paid REVO significantly more for what feels like an equally well tuned map. Update 1 year 3 months later: Zero mechanical issues despite being floored numerous times daily. Oil leak from rocker cover gasket which is nothing to do with the remap, otherwise engine is perfect at 139,000 miles. Car was mapped at 120,656. The eco pro is sensible; comfort and especially sport is basically an on/off switch. I wish I mentioned it at the time so they could make them more linear as it makes the other two modes useless for me. Not a massive issue but only complaint, but I should've raised it.

Recently I had my 2018 Audi RS5 remapped by Celtic Tuning, but I had to have the car flashed back to stock with a full refund a few weeks later. The remapped RS5 wasn’t running properly after cold-starting, the IAT sensor was reading -40 degrees on startup which caused the revs to “hunt” up and down by throwing huge amounts of fuel into the engine on a cold start. Celtic sent someone out to try and diagnose the issue the following week. After several hours on the second visit, the Celtic software team still couldn’t figure out what the issue was on my RS5, they just kept flashing different files to my ECU hoping that one of them would work, but they were all the same. After trying at least 4 different files, and after 2 visits, I gave up, and asked for a refund. My car was flashed back to stock on the 3rd visit, and now it cold-starts perfectly again! I asked for the manager to call me after the 2nd visit to explain what’s going on and to find out what the next steps would be, but I never received a call. Both techs who initially visited me were in a rush the whole time - one of them even left a test map on my car at one point and then drove away, because he was so keen to finish work early! - luckily he came back! Overall my experience with Celtic Tuning was poor, and I’ll never use them again. If you own a B9 Audi RS5, don’t get it remapped by this company.
