Second car I have taken there. The Sportage pulls up the hill by the shops and the fuel economy is slightly better. Their aftersale support was a text and an open offer to tweak it.

Keith R

Sticking EGR had left it rough at idle and breathless as soon as the gradient arrived. That fault is gone. Pull is there from lower down, and traffic is far less tiring. Spot on.

Colin L

Loaded or empty, it is less effort, and I noticed the hill first. With people and bags it stays in gear on the rise that used to take two shifts. Empty, it cruises and the box is less busy. Joining the dual carriageway takes less room. We have done the same holiday miles and arrived in a better mood, which sounds soft until you have done that road in the old state. Chuffed to bits. The fuel was no worse. I would call that a win on its own, and the drivability is the part I actually live with.

Elin Q

I was braced for something harsh. What I got was a calmer drive that happens to have the hill sorted. The throttle in traffic is the part I did not expect to love. Delighted.

An amazing job on the BMW. He did not hurry it off the rollers, and it pulls exactly where he said it would, then sits quietly on the motorway. Bang on.

They mapped the works Berlingo and, a year later, the Vito I use for the longer jobs. Both came back pulling properly, which is what I go there for. The hill up to the estate with a full load used to mean staying in a low gear and hoping. The Vito pulls up it and still has something left. Fuel economy on the empty return runs is better than the Berlingo was before its own remap. I went back once because a particular lay-by start felt soft. They came out, made a change, and rang two days later to ask about that same lay-by. Aftersale support with that much attention is why both vans, and the next one, stay with this garage.

I reset the display and left it alone for a month. The figure crept up, and the rise I do twice a day no longer forces a shift. Well made up with both.

Catrin K

I was braced for a harsher car and I did not get one. What I got was a calmer drive that happens to pull up hills. The throttle in town is the part I did not expect to love, cleaner without lunging, and the hill by the school is no longer a downchange. The Friday run confirmed it: lazier cruise, more left in the tank, less tired at the door. Well made up. It still feels like ours. I just do not have the old conversation about which gear to pick before the rise. That conversation was getting old.

An AdBlue countdown and a DPF light had arrived as a pair, usually when the van was loaded. Neither has been back. It holds its speed on the hill and I have stopped carrying a spare bottle. Fair made up.

Alun L

The DPF would not finish a cycle, so short hops ended in a warning and a hill ended in limp mode. They saw a regeneration through to the end. No light since, and the climb past the shops is just a climb. Highly chuffed.

I had a Leon done here and later took the Cupra in, then this Formentor. Three cars, one garage. The hill up from the village is steep enough that the standard car was always changing down. It pulls up it now with people in the back and the boot full. Fuel economy was my wife's question, not mine, so we watched it. Around town it is about the same, and on the bypass it is better. We went back because she wanted a little less urgency at low speed. They adjusted the file, explained the difference, and followed up with a call. Hard to argue with aftersale support when they already know the last two cars you brought in.

EGR trouble had the Mercedes stumbling away from the lights and then giving up the moment the road rose. With that issue sorted it pulls evenly, idles cleanly, and I am proper pleased every morning.

Robert J

A sticking EGR had the BMW coughing at idle and flat on the hill, particularly once it was warm and full. Those habits are gone. It pulls evenly, starts clean, and the step from fifty is there when I need to pass. I am not rowing the box on the B-road home. Spot on. Fuel on that weekly loop is a touch better, and the car is quieter in its work. I had lived with the stumble for so long I had started calling it normal. It was not.

Reception was great. They knew the booking, said hello properly, and did not leave me hovering. Left buzzing.

Tom H

Chuffed. The Ford just climbs.

Dewi G

The fish in reception are really interesting, a proper shoal, always moving, and I lost a good while just watching them. Then the Volkswagen on the road was every bit as lively. Well happy.

Martin H

An amazing job with the Audi. It came off the dyno pulling exactly where he said, and the drive over the hill proved the sheet without any theatre. The mid-range is fuller, the long rise is one gear, and town is cleaner rather than sharp. I have done the commute for a month. Less hunting, a slightly better fuel figure, and I am less worn out on Friday. Highly chuffed. He did not rush it, and he did not talk me into anything I had not asked for. The car is easier. That was the brief.

DPF and AdBlue had been taking turns to ruin the week, one light then the other, always on the same rise. Both have gone quiet. The BMW climbs without a downchange, a bottle lasts a normal stretch, and I am overjoyed to have a clear dash.

Gwen E

I came the long way home on purpose. Every climb that used to drop a gear did not, the throttle in town stayed civil, and I got in less tired than I have in months. Lush.

Emlyn G

Those fish in reception are really interesting, always on the move, more going on than in most waiting rooms I have sat in. I watched the whole tank and could not tell you the species. Then the Ford on the road had the same energy. Earlier pull, the yard hill done in a taller gear with the trailer on, and a cruise that sits once the hitch is empty. Grinning. I came for a tow and left with a nicer daily car as well. The tank was a bonus I have mentioned to people, which is ridiculous and true.
