Very helpful garage.
I originally took my 10 year old Jaguar to an independent Jag specialist in Derby with a gearbox fault. Using a plug-in diagnostic tool they showed me a series of fault codes and diagnosed the problem. I was told I needed a replacement gearbox at cost upwards of £1000. I took the car to Jag Tech who, with the same diagnostic equipment (and the same fault codes) identified an electrical fault: a faulty transmission control module (TCM). Jag tech located a second hand replacement unit and the total repair including labour cost me £340 including VAT. Jag Tech subsequently carried out other work on the vehicle to get it through the MOT and I have to say I was very satisfied with their service throughout. TOP GUYS. Honest and professional. It's a shame all garages aren't like this. No hesitation in recommending them to anyone. June 2009

No other garage had been able to find the fault. They were courteous, polite, quick and excellent at communicating with the customer.They found the fault and also repaired something else potentially dangerous that another garage had overlooked.The main thing was they actually listened to the car, looked at the car and drove that car, rather than attaching it to a computer and shrugging their shoulders. This is what proper mechanics should be doing when they have experience and knowledge. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a real mechanic!
After dealing with Jaguar direct I found Jag Tech to be like a breath of fresh air. The service on my engine and new chairs was done quickly and at an excellent price.
