My car had to have ABS sensor renewed as well as MOT. Garage supplied and fitted sensor and then did MOT. All done for a reasonable price. I had pleasant welcome when I delivered car and when I collected it. Car was ready when they said it would be. Well done.

Always give good advice about the work that is required and a fair price. I have used this garage for last few years for my MOT and service.

I cannot fault the service nor the (reasonable) cost of the repairs, as the staff, from the receptionist right up to the boss was fantastic and far beyond what I expected - hence the perfect score.

I used to go to another garage in Cardiff, but I did not receive good service although I had been with them for 30 years. It may be time for a change - my local garage should have gone years ago. Loyalty to them means nothing.

I have been let down with other garages in the past. Thank goodness there was a website called The Good Garage Scheme. I came in on Friday morning, told them I think my turbo pipe was, faulty hence loss of power (struggling past 1800 rpm whilst driving) and black smoke was coming from my exhaust on my VW Golf. Got a call at just gone 5pm on the same day at home saying that the car was ready. They were not able to give me a quote though. They explained that they did a pressure check and found leak on the turbo pipe and fixed the problem with a band. The next day I went to pick up car and I could see it was washed. I went to the reception for the bill etc. The guy was very helpful and explained the bill and what had been carried out. The bill said that they replaced the pipe. I told him I was told something different over the phone about a band being fitted on the pipe. I asked if I could see the part that was fixed. He kindly went to mechanic and managed to get them to get the part out of the bin to show me. I was surprised that they replaced the pipe at a fraction of the price. I am absolutely impressed with this garage. I know garages are very hard to find and this one is one of the best I have ever known. Thank you very much, I am very happy with the repairs that have been carried out. I strongly recommend this garage to anyone, as they are honest, reliable and will not rip you off. N.B. In fact the last time I had a repair job with a different garage in Newport, they put a screw to hold turbo pipe in because they could not clip it up properly.

Used parts were made available to demonstrate (genuine Mercedes parts used). Technicians were willing to talk about technicalities eg. carbon emotions. Only downside oil and filter cost not separated on invoice.
