I have often been intimidated at other places but I have found this garage to be very different. So relaxed and encouraging. Respectful, honest and direct, no time wasting or jargon talking, fast and efficient help at a reasonable cost.

This garage is amazing. Having had two garages look at my range Rover ( both claimed to be Land rover experts) both charging me £54 for a diagnostic and the later one charging me nearly £200 with no resolution wanted to take it to another garage as they were at a loss. My husband called in to LRX Services in Leekbrook just on the off chance and Greg assured him that if he could not fix it he would not charge. This was music to my ears after being told it could take weeks to locate the fault due to the level of wiring in the vehicle. We took it in on Thursday evening and received a call the following day to say it was fixed. I was amazed. These guys really know their stuff and better still at a very reasonable cost for a service that far outweighs that of other garages, including the so called Land rover specialists. We have three Land Rovers and will be using LRX for all our future needs from MOTs, servicing and repairs, especially electronics. I feel they are very trustworthy and friendly. It is a pleasure to do business with this company and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Greg and his team are very helpful and are willing to 'go that extra mile' to help when asked. I have recently had a problem with my alternator on my Land Rover Defender 90, and Greg and Nick came out to my home to fix the problem ASAP. They are very professional and obliging and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

The service at LRX services was totally 1st class. The owner and workers totally go out of their way to help you. The service is very professional and the team really know their stuff. As a woman, I never feel intimidated by the team at LRX Services Garage, unlike other garages I have been to. The customer service and the lengths this team go to to help you are incredible and I would highly recommend them to anyone. A friend recommend LRX Leek, informing me that Greg was very knowledgeable and realistic. Two things sprung to mind 'novel' and 'whatever'. However, I spoke some more and thought that if all was true, then I would have a try, with an annoying knock which 2 garages had been unable to diagnose. I spoke to Greg and he said fetch the Landrover and I'll diagnose it. So after a 5 minute drive, it was put on the ramps to confirm the problem. Greg and Nick got it on the ramps , checked the bushes and found play in the front, which previous garages told me was the rear. They then plugged it in to the computer and activated the ACE, it was cool to watch the 2 ton Landrover dancing. Anyway, 4 bushes were the issue and he noticed another fault via the computer. They had a look and sorted it, and then informed me it was an oil leak which would be a gasket. Impressed wasn't the word, these guys really know their stuff. I booked the Landrover in. They offered to take me in to Leek town and that they would pick me up when it was ready. They completed the work, which was value for money and I came away feeling satisfied and thinking it's not often you find a garage friendly, family orientated, value for money and courteous. Very pleased with the customer service and standard of work!

I had broken down on the side of the road in Leek awaiting the AA. The garage owner was driving past and offered assistance (I know he had potential self-interest but nonetheless this 'Good Samaritan' act was really appreciated). AA arrived and after a few diagnostic tests all agreed it was an alternator failure. Being a local garage dealing in Land Rover and the identical BMW-based engine as in my MG ZT-T it made sense to take the car to LRX. I received a free recovery and was well looked after during the replacement of the alternator. The coffees throughout my wait were excellent and receptionist even took the trouble to go out and get me some lunchtime sandwiches! What more can one ask? Service like this is so rare these days. The staff were cheerful, honest, helpful and professional throughout and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I was on holiday when the clutch master cylinder failed on our Freelander. They got the car going with a temporary repair and ordered a new master cylinder, which was fitted within 48 hours. They also fixed a squeak in a rear brake drum, which two other garages couldn't even diagnose. I was so impressed that I asked them to fix a broken rear window winder and replace the electric mirror which had previously failed. This was all successfully done in the short time that we were staying in the area and at a price which was much less than I would had paid at home. They make good tea too! I thoroughly recommend LRX Services.

I took my Seat here today to get the timing belt and associated bits changed. The price was a third of the Seat dealer, and half of another local garage. When I asked why I was simply told 'we don't rip you off', I can't fault that! Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, and couldn't fault them on anything. Definitely recommend to others.

I took my Land Rover in for an MOT, which was easily arranged, however it failed. I was given a clear idea by phone about the work that was needed to get it through and was advised a service was very overdue, I explained that this was my fault as I had let it lapse. I was very pleased with the way I was looked after, everything was clearly explained and I knew what the time scale would be to get back the car. When I picked it up it was all better and nice and shiny. I felt that I was treated with respect and given useful advice about the future care and maintenance of my car. I have confidence in this garage and will be back for another visit when required.

LRX have done a number of jobs on my Landrover in recent months and they are always helpful and efficient. They have a wealth of knowledge, particularly about Landrovers and they are reasonably priced. I would not look any further than this garage with any other work that needs to be done on my Landrover.

I found out about this garage at a car-boot sale! The owner was distributing very smart laminated handouts and it impressed me so much that I decided to give them a try the next time my car needed some attention. This was its annual MOT in January - it failed! It was a light bulb and two tyres. The light bulb was replaced free of charge, but sadly not the tyres. However, I was given excellent advice on which tyres I needed and was able to patronise my usual supplier too. Unfortunately, this was not the end, LRX confirmed my suspicions that my clutch was on the way out so I booked in for this too. One new clutch and a new fly wheel later (ouch!) we were back on the road. They kept me informed at every stage which enabled me to make decisions quickly and allowed them to replace the flywheel at the same time as the clutch, which would otherwise have been even more expense. Although two major jobs were done, I felt the prices were fair, but more than anything else they really know what they are doing. There is dedication and integrity in everything they do and they were patient and helpful when I needed more explanation. Being talked down to as a female car owner has me leaving garages! At LRX it is the complete opposite. If like me, you know a bit but not a lot about cars, but care about yours being in good hands and well maintained, look no further.
