I have used this garage for some years and the service is second to none from the reception to the mechanics first class and much cheaper than Mercedes.

For over three years, my partner has had her Hyundai Santa Fe serviced regularly by a garage she trusted, in Dunfermline. Unfortunately, they failed to mention that according to the manufacturer the cam belt needed changing. The consequence of their failure led to the cam belt breaking and subsequent major engine damage. The main dealer would only quote for a new short engine at £4050! Kilgannon motors rebuilt the engine for a cost of £2140! Prior to commencing the work, Jamie, the proprietor told us that if the repair cost was going to be to excessive, i.e. not worth doing, he would tell us. His examination proved that repairs were possible and at an acceptable price. We were informed at all stages of how the repairs were going and at the completion of the job, the car was running perfectly. I cannot speak highly enough about the integrity and skill and courtesy of this garage. This is the best garage that I have dealt with in over 40 years of motoring.

Both myself and my friend own Kia Sorrento's, my car is 57 plate with 50,000 miles on clock and my friends car is 59 plate with 63,000 miles. Both cars have been losing power over the last few months, had increased fuel consumption and the 59 plate car often misfired especially in 3rd gear. My friend took her car to Kilgannon's and explained the problems she was having. Jamie removed the EGR valve and inlet valve to allow extensive cleaning of the parts. It was re-built fully, they replaced the fuel filter and added a fuel treatment. They also carried out an inlet valve and EGR cleaning procedure to clean internal components. They also added an engine flush before re-newing the oil and filter, and then added a turbo cleaner. Next they replaced full brake fluid system as required and the vehcile was test driven. The dramatic improvement in the cars performance was such that I booked my own vehicle in for the same treatment with the 'new' fluids. This was done on 11th July 2013. I have noticed a big improvement in the overall performance of my vehicle as well as a much better fuel consumption. Jamie recommended these new products as he has great faith in their ability to enhance the performance of the engines etc, also extending the life and protecting the moving parts from seizing up/undue wear. We appreciate his in depth knowledge of these products and his advice to use them.
