My car failed its MOT due to a minor fault. The quote from Hornsey Motor Services was much cheaper than the testing station. I had never used them before and so took a 'punt'. They were excellent. They did the job as they said they would and there were no 'hidden extras'. Excellent service.

Can't recommend Ali and the team enough. They work hard and fast, keep costs down for you where they can, are reasonable and communicative. They have kept my old Fiesta purring nicely. Thanks Ali!

I put the car in for MOT, service and replacement of two bush arms. The quality of work was good and the price competitive. They did a few small extras without charging, which makes a very pleasant change. I will use this garage again.

Best garage around. Really helpful staff who know what they are doing and do not do work you do not need. I cannot praise them enough. I have used them on a number of occasions and have total faith in them. Great mechanics. Wish I had found them years ago.

Been using this garage for ages, and at the helm is the excellent Ali. He is not at all pushy, he charges very competitive rates and he clearly explains everything. As a woman I often feel quite ripped off by garages, so I really trust this garage. I had a cylinder go, and instead of making me have all 4 done Ali was happy changing just the 1, clearly explained upcoming work that will need doing and the costs involved3326 (but didn't push for it to be done there and then) and above all gave the car a clean which just topped it all off. Very happy :-)

Very pleased with the overall attitude of the manager and staff. The manager Ali took the time necessary to explain what they did, and was not pushy at all regarding the work which needs to be done. He explained for example that the first time you change the timing belt on a Honda civic, you don't need to change the water pump as well. The other garage I got a quote from never mentioned that and would have charge me for that! Ali, knowing I would go to France for Christmas, even lent me for free a set of bulbs (legal requirement) in case I am stopped by the police over there. I just need to bring it back once I am back in London. Great! Nice gesture.

Brilliant service - sorted a problem created by another garage.

Ali and his team are extremely helpful. I was constantly kept informed of the situation with the car, when it would be ready, what was needed and the costs of parts and labour - they even sourced a used part for me, so that I didn't have to pay for a new part. This involved more time than was originally thought and his team even drove out of their way to collect the part so that I could have the car ready for when I needed it that morning. I don't have much trust in garages (particularly dealerships who charge £50+ just to tell you what you already know) and so it was great to find an honest, hard-working team who have the awareness that customer service is the most important aspect of the business. I will most certainly be using this garage in future (and recommending it to friends).

The owner spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem and explaining it. He made sure that unnecessary work wasn't needed. He is friendly and they gave the car back clean.

I recommend this garage very highly. Over the past 18 months I've had my car serviced and two different repairs carried out, the second being very complicated and time-consuming. I needed my tyre changing and didn't have time to order a replacement. This garage replaced my damaged tyre with the spare in order for me to continue my journey. They were friendly and efficient, completing the job in 10 minutes and only charging a minimal fee. I felt very reassured that I had found a trustworthy and friendly local garage.
