My 1994 Audi 80 engine diagnostic report showed no faults, but, gratis, also contained recommendations for some mechanical work, which was duly carried out. (The owner has the same car, which was comforting!) Affable, knowledgeable and honest - I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending.
Local garage used having been at a main dealers who quoted in excess of £1200 to repair my ECU/ABS pump. In addition the dealer quoted further work which required doing including renewing 3 tyres which were allegedly illegal (they gave me the tyre depth and when I pointed out the legal limit was 1.6mm they then withdrew their statement claiming they were only advising me to have them renewed!) Having carried out some research and spoken to staff at Hood Motors the ECU/ABS pump problem was repaired for around £200. They looked at the other work which I also allegedly required and they gave advice on same. All in all a very good service and I would have no hesitation to use them in the future. Thanks.
