We have two cars and have used garage many times. Service always excellent and efficient.
This garage has a good homely feel to it. Staff are friendly and approachable.
Accurate description of work carried out on a vehicle, backed up by photographs when necessary.
Excellent, friendly service, very reasonable price for an oil and filter change and fitted me in at very short notice as well. Have recommended Hood Motors to my friends.
The garage was highly informative explaining the possible trouble with the car.
I was recommended to this garage by a friend. My, somewhat neglected, car required a major service, replacement timing belt and a fault diagnosis. The total bill was very reasonable for my make of vehicle. Overall I was very happy with the friendly service and would have no hesitation in recommending Hood Motors.
Very happy with the standard of work, but then overcharged, which was rectified.
A great garage, always helpful and effective.

Fantastic garage, every time.
I've been taking my car here for the past few years and the service is second to none! The chaps are always very courteous and are sure to explain every detail and show any duff parts that need replacing etc. Plus the lovely lady behind the desk makes a cracking cup of tea if there's a wee wait to be had.
An excellent local family-run garage. Staff are very helpful.
Felt very welcome and felt very comfortable taking my car here which I felt was a big help being a female driver. Everything was explained well which makes a big difference.
Mr Hood and his employees demonstrate a very high quality of workmanship. He is honest, reliable and always attempts to solve my car problems ASAP. I trust him as a person and also his workmanship.
