Battery was flat outside of house. Jump leads no use. Halfords price was £185 + £50 fitting. National £237. I had to get the car to them to fit new battery. Hood Motors came to house, checked battery, took car away and brought it back with new battery fitted. Cost £190

Since I moved house last summer, this has become my local garage. I wish I'd come here years ago! Customer service is first class and as a middle-aged woman I felt very comfortable asking questions. Advice was offered, but I didn't feel under any pressure. I will definitely be back.
