I would highly recommend G M Autocare Ltd in Brighton. I've been taking my car(s) to Ray and his staff for almost 10 years now and I can't fault them. It's the personal touches that count for me. On one particular occasion, following my dad's very sad and sudden death, Ray did everything he could to put my car through its MOT & service (within a couple of hours) so that my car would not be out use for too long. I have used G.M. Autocare for 15 years, and I've always received an excellent and friendly service.

After my daughter, who lives in Brighton, had taken her car for an MOT to a local garage, it failed. My daughter was quoted a lot for the repairs. The cost of the replacement parts were less than a third of the quote. I was unhappy with the report and the repair costs, so decided to gat a second opinion. A friend in Swindon recommended Ray at G M Autocare in Brighton. I called Ray and explained the situation to him. He asked me to tell my daughter to take the car to him straight away and he would give it the once over. Ray duly arranged for the car to be re-MOT checked and it duly passed. I have since been told the car should not have failed in the first place. The link arms were only changed after the car had passed the MOT. We were told by the first garage that the other reason it failed was the front brake pads were below the required depth, in actual fact there is still 50% on the pads and they did not need replacing. Ray had the car MOT done and replaced the link arms for a Third of what the other garage quoted. In my opinion Ray is a diamond. I had never seen or been in contact with Ray before Tuesday, but he was kind enough to sort all of that out in less than a day and save my daughter a considerable amount of money. Ray you are a true gentleman and an honest professional in an industry which is fraught with controversy. I would like to thank you and your staff for all of the help you gave my daughter.
