Had a catastrophic failure of rear wheel bearing, possible due to a previous garage. I took it to these guys in the morning out of the blue and had it fixed by 2pm. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff and also let me use my own parts that I had for replacing front disc brakes, so they only charged me labour. Very happy after other bad garage experiences. I will use these guys again.

My car developed a brake fault on the way from Coventry to the Lake District whilst visiting Manchester. This garage was fantastic to get parts and put right on the spot for us. Thanks.

I found the garage great, the staff were very efficient and very friendly, they kept me updated with the progress of the repairs to my wife's car. The cost of the repairs were very good and the time involved meant that we were able to collect the car the next day even though they removed and replaced the starter motor on a Mercedes A class. They also replaced part of the rear exhaust. We are extremely pleased with the service the staff provided, and they explained what was wrong, even the fact that they telephoned me to say that they were able to provide a cheaper starter motor as there are two different kinds for our car. Great service, great garage and great prices. We will certainly use this garage again and we will inform our friends. Also the fact that you are able to trust a garage to do your repairs, takes so much pressure off you. All future work on our other cars will be done at this garage. Five stars.

My mk4 golf gt tdi had developed cam wear problems, other garages had told me couldn't fix it and others asked for silly money. I called Ems and spoke to Daniel who was most helpful and assured me they could fix the problem, I also asked him to serivce the car and investigate steering noise. Daniel identified the problem where other garages had failed, he was very informative and gave good advice. The car now feels revived, engine is running very smooth and quieter! And no more steering noise! Very impressed with the work done and attention to detail with their work. Having used many garages before, wish I had discovered them sooner. Highly recommended.

EMS don't do unnecessary work to put your bill up; they have the integrity to only do what needs to be done and keep you informed. Once they have done the job - it stays done!!! I've never had to take the car back to them in 20 years of service!!!!

A very quick response. I phone up on the day as the vehicle was due an MOT tomorrow and they told me to bring it in on the same day. I got there and an hour later walked out with my MOT certificate. Fast and honest.

I know I can trust them to do a good job and not to take advantage of me by doing jobs that don't need doing.

Follow up on a previous repair. Replaced starter motor, when that failed they reviewed the work and found that the starter motor was faulty and rectified.
