I booked car in for major service, and was quoted for this. Although the records were not clear, DMC realised that a major service had been carried out the previous year by another company, and contacted me to explain, and reduce the cost accordingly. I am sure some firms would merely carry out unnecessary work in order to charge more. I am impressed with their approach.
