D Hughes and Son

Very thorough, helpful and friendly. They kept me up to date with repairs that were needed. Reasonable rates and quality parts used. We’re new to the area and will definitely be using this garage again. We would have no hesitation recommending them to others.

You know you can trust a long-established, truly local garage like David Hughes & Son, because everyone says so! They really know their stuff and only did what needed doing, using quality parts, with skill and professionalism. Helpful advice and a personalised service.

Great service, friendly, and helpful . Will definately use again.

Excellent contact and advised of work required for MOT before actioned, quick and professional and friendly giving good advice

Exceptional service from a long-standing, family-run business.

Super helpful from start to finish, kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. Quick, efficient, and clearly know what they’re doing. Couldn’t be happier with the service – would definitely recommend them to anyone needing reliable and professional work done

Big repair, fully explained at all stages. Recommend and will use again

Sam and David were quick to carry out the check, and gave really helpful advice and information. They were responsive on the phone, and didn’t charge for the check up! I would recommend Sam and David, especially if you own a VAG vehicle.

Always top quality work at reasonable prices and they are very trustworthy. Been using them for years and will continue to do so. Highly recommend them.

Great garage. Very helpful. Phone them and urgently needed work done as was going on holiday and they managed to do the work same day. Very happy with work done.

Both David and Sam are so very helpful. Their work is professional and it is all explained in a way that is understandable. They use manufacturer genuine parts but the service cost is significantly cheaper than using the brand main dealer. We have no hesitation recommending them.

Loved Sam and his father, I came in for an exhaust fix and they sorted me within an hour. I’ll definitely be using their garage from now on, great pair of lads 👏🏾

Polite professional and time efficient. Took time to explain repair process and authenticity of parts used. A further job was also added on due to the skill based demonstrated

We visited unannounced with a cycle lock issue. They fixed it without an appointment. They were very helpful and friendly.

On holiday in Suffolk. Got a grating noise going into Bury St Edmunds. They looked at it and sorted me out in less than an hour.

Thank you, so much. I was very happy with the service i reclved.

We have been using this garage for 15 years and would not consider going anywhere else. This garage doesn’t do anything for the sake of it. They identify the problems and causes before doing any work. Excellent mechanics with great service, clear communication and fair and transparent pricing.

David & Sam were excellent at explaining what the issues were with my car and what steps they would take to resolve the issues. I will definitely be coming back here again when I need work done on my car.

Nice guys and very reasonable and professional. I recently moved to the area and they will be my go to garage from now. A proper garage

Wow, how great is it to finally a decent garage. David and Sam are amazing. Two really nice guys, I would recommend them to everyone I know. And from now on will be our go to garage for all work on our cars. Thanks again to David and Sam for your great work
