I am not normally a person who leaves feedback, however, I was so impressed by the overall experience of this garage I felt I should share this with others. I cannot give enough praise to this garage. It outclassess many main dealers.

I have known John and been aware of his talents for many years now, initially whilst he was co-proprietor of another business. I have now taken three of my BMWs to Autobase for service, repair and other work. Each time I have been fully informed of the work required and costs. I have been also loaned a courtesy car and all work has been carried out speedily and at a very good price. Others have said it, but this operation should really be the template not only for independent garages but for main dealers too. I can only say: excellent service, friendly people, excellent pricing, speedy work and great feedback to the owner. 100%+ if that is possible! I can't praise Autobase enough!!!
Main dealers could learn a lot from this garage!!! Friendly and polite; excellent prices and superb knowledge. I always had work explained to me very well; free courtesy car. I would recommend this garage to anyone.
I have known John Allen, proprietor of Autobase for some years from his involvement with a previous company. I have always found his work to be of the highest order and certainly on this occasion I cannot fault his workmanship, costs and his attitude. I can only say that I would recommend his services to anyone. I am really impressed by how he has gone about setting up his new enterprise - excellent!!!
This garage is run by John, who is one of the nicest, polite and friendly person I have ever met. The garage is clean, tidy and well organised. The service is excellent with lots of things that other garages charge for, not being included in the bills I have been presented. His labour rates are very fair and the lowest I have seen too. More importantly John loves cars and cares about his work and is very knowledgeable about BMWs. My car is a 330ci M Sport with an SSG gearbox (52 plate). Not many were sold in the UK and as a result hardly anyone has worked on them. The gearbox started to act in a peculiar way and whoever I took the car too couldn't fix it, in fact most garages ran for cover when I told them what car I had and the issue with the box. Not John, he rolled up his sleeves and did loads of research. He had my car back several times and lent me a free of charge hire car whilst he looked at my car. Eventually after going through a series of parts replacements and diagnoses steps, he has finally fixed my car. If you look on the forums most people who own my car and have had this problem I experienced, never seem to ever fix it. I am fortunate to have found John. He is brilliant.
Excellent service. They dropped me home whilst the car was being service. The car was returned in a really clean condition. I will definitely recommend them.
Far beyond expectations, updates by phone, never kept in the dark regarding prices etc. Many main dealers could learn a lot from the likes of Autobase. They are a credit to the motor trade, full stop. Loan car supplied free of cost, a breath of fresh air, to put it mildly.
Very professional. They seem to be extremely well organised. All staff are very courteous. I will definitely return, and will recommend them to others.

Brilliant customer service, very helpful and informative. I only had a blocked windscreen washer bottle but will be using as my regular BMW garage from now on. My husband had just bought a BMW 650 which had a problem with the window not closing, took it up to the garage on the Saturday and they sorted it out straight away free of charge too.

This garage was superb! They carried out a major service on my Audi TT. They were courteous and explained the work clearly and understandably. They provided a free courtesy car, so it was easy for me to get to work and conduct my daily routine. The bill at the end was cheaper than I anticipated which was a great bonus!!! The quality of work was carried out to a very high standard - exactly the same as I would expect of a Main Dealership. I am delighted that I have found a garage that I can trust and I will always be going back to this place for any work I need as the workmanship is the same standard as provided by a Main Dealership and it was a better overall experience than a Main Dealer, because they explained everything clearly (I asked lots of questions about my car and they were more than happy to take the time to explain to me and show me) plus the courtesy car was free and Main Dealers charge you for this!!! I would recommend this garage to anyone.

Excellent and friendly service - car was washed as part of the work! Also paid to have the car valeted, which was very thorough. The car looked like new!
