It was great to have my car serviced today by two gentlemen who obviously knew what they were talking about and actually listened to and answered my questions. All of the work was done to a very high standard, it was finished when I was told it would be ready and it cost what I had been told it would be. If you drive a BMW and are looking for a good independent garage then I can thoroughly recommend Autobase in Chipping Sodbury.

It is not often I get superb value for money and I never do this feedback thing. I would much rather pay for an hour with someone who knows how to get a job done in minutes, than with someone who has no clue, uses generic and misleading diagnostics or has no idea what they are doing and takes hours albeit at a lower rate. In my case specifically this would be a BMW main dealer, who would charge significantly more without solving a relatively simple issue. I would trust John Allen.

I had a problem with my BMW 530d and took it to a BMW garage in Bristol. They had the car for two days, but were unable to find the cause of the fault, but I did have to pay for their time. I then searched on the Internet and found Autobase BMW specialists in Chipping Sodbury, the chap who runs the garage was the head technician for Dick Lovett BMW. He knew exactly what was causing the problem, and had the car running perfectly the same day. The cost of repair was very reasonable, and I was very pleased I had found a very good garage, which in this day and age, are very few and far between. Highly recommend! Thank you Autobase.

I had all of the suspension springs replaced on my BMW 5 Series. I decided to leave sending my feedback to this website for a few weeks in order to give time for the new suspension to settle in, so I could give properly informed feedback. The work conducted by this garage was first class. I asked for and received a lot of great advice from this garage on the options I had for replacing suspension components which was fantastic and friendly. I know that a lot of the car interior needs to be removed in order to fit the rear suspension on my car and the car has come back to me as good as new - in fact better than new as the new suspension is superb!! I even have some additional, non-standard, audio equipment in my car and this needed to be removed and refitted to do the suspension work - this was done to a perfect standard. I am genuinely delighted with the work done by Autobase. I noticed that quite a lot of people who leave feedback for this garage have said that Main Dealers could learn a lot from this garage and I would definitely say the same!! Congratulations Autobase!!!!

I was very impressed with the overall service Autobase provided. They started the work as soon as I delivered the vehicle, gave me a free courtesy car and finished the work within the time specified. John, the owner was courteous and informative and nothing was too much trouble. I have visited many garages in the past and Autobase definitely has the right attitude, long may it continue. The cost was much cheaper than main dealer, yet I feel I got a better standard of service. Congratulations to Autobase.
