I broke down on New Year's Day and - fortunately - had RAC membership. I don't live in Edinburgh so I was happy for them to have their approved firm uplift my vehicle. As soon as the garage had opened after New Year they inspected the car and told me what was needed. I was so impressed with their communication, politeness and professionalism. Like most people, I'm not a trained mechanic. So there's always that worry of whether you're being spun a story. But the staff explained everything to me and the prices seemed reasonable. When I went to pick up my car the reception was covered in certificates testifying to their quality of care, service and technical standards. I'm very happy with the repair on my car and would wholeheartedly recommend the firm.
The man who came to recover the vehicle could not access the car in the underground car park - so cheerfully pushed it down to the lower level access point - with a smile at 0100 hours. He was very helpful and pleasant - definitely should be give a gold star.
