Took my 2001 Corsa in to be looked at that seemed very noisy with an engine rattle, thought the problem was off to be very expensive. However, with the help of a friendly mechanic the problem was solved for a lot less than expected. Car is now driving a lot quieter and better than before.

My car went in for a major service, because the main dealer had missed it out from years before! Did a fantastic job, was informed that it needed a new cam belt as it looked warn, even though I had only had one fitted from the main dealer 14 months earlier. Unfortunately my car broke down the day after the service, this was a faulty spark plug and nothing to do with the garage! Steve picked my car up from my house first thing, to do the cam belt and spark plug. He did a fantastic job, struggling at times as my car was being a bit of a pain! He showed me all the parts he had replaced, and the old cam belt had actually been fitted wrong by the main dealer, that is why it was warn down! The price was more than reasonable for the hours he put in, he kept me informed by ringing and text of how my car was getting on. A great garage that was recommended to me, and I shall recommend to others, thanks Steve!!

Brought my car in to try and solve the blue smoke pouring out the back of it. Shipton Auto Services where professionally and gave me great advice. Problem solved and was happy with the price.

I needed my front left tyre replacing at short notice and the garage fitted me in straight away. My car was collected from my place of work, the repair was done in good time and my car was brought back to me whilst I was at work which was a big help. What was even better was that my car came back clean, which was completely unexpected but much appreciated! My car is due a service soon so I'll definitely be booking it in.

New start-up in York North area in late 2010. Now used for two cars both Mercedes and Vauxhall with on time quality work and car returned clean.
