The best customer service I have come across for a long time. Swift and professional diagnosis of the problem and fixed the following day. The price was exactly as quoted, even though they'd had to do some minor additional work. Fantastic values of respect and customer service coupled with technical knowledge and professionalism - a winning combination.
I'm 76 and my son recommended John Atherton Autos after I'd had a persistent problem with my car. Atherton's diagnosed the problem immediately and were extremely helpful in explaining exactly what the problem was. I was so impressed I will bring my car back for its MOT and I live in Halifax. Excellent service and value for money.
Excellent service every time visit. Staff were very, very helpful.

A well run garage.
It's the first time I have used this garage, but I will be coming back. Their service and communication from staff was great.
I have used this garage for the last 13 years and have always been really happy with the service.
Only went to John Athertons because my mechanic couldn';t repair my old car. So I was told to take it here, which I did, so when new car needed servicing I took it back. Excellent service 100%.
I have used garages for 25 years, this is the best by far, Andy on reception is very polite and knowledgeable. The new garage location is spacious, customer friendly, the motor repair side is clinical.
First major work since last year MOT. Very professional approach and willingness not to carry out work that can be defined until a later date. Car was valeted, unexpected price - very pleased!
An excellent garage, with great staff.

Have been using this garage for a number of years, good service for other than unforeseen work. Car is always returned on time at reasonable cost.
As a lady driver it is good to be able to go to a garage and not feel intimidated knowing a good job will be done.
Very helpful. I had a problem with getting to the garage at the appointed time. They could not have been more helpful.
