They do whats needed,within reason, sometimes more than asked for,and sometimes charge less than price quoted.A reliable garage, that can be trusted to do a good job, at a reasonable price.
I have very little knowledge of cars but Shane and the team don't make me feel stupid for this - they explain things clearly but in a non-patronising way, and are clear about risks, costs and timescales. I took my car in today at 8 as air-con wasn't working and was prepared to leave it for the day, it was ready by 10. Reassuring precautions in place to reduce Covid-19 risks
Having never been to Sun Motors before, I am delighted to have found them. Like most people I am always wary of garages and have had bad experiences in the past. All the staff at Sun Motors are very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. No unnecessary work was undertaken. I highly recommend them. 5* service and excellent communication. Many Thanks.
As always, the guys at Sun motors completed work on my car to a high spec. I'm always concerned when taking my car to a garage that I might be ripped off but not with them. They are so genuine and tell you exactly what you do and don't need doing. They also let you know the life left in certain parts which is reassuring. I took my car in with 3 queries and Shane took the time to explain what was happening and what I could do without any pressure. I know for a fact that they do not do work to a car without it being necessary. They also checked my car over to make sure there were no other dangers which I appreciated. They are the first mechanics that I feel I can trust, which is massive in my books!
Cost quoted was price I paid. 100% confident and happy in the work carried out on my car. Mechanics are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Work was recommended for the future, but no pressure or obligation put on me to commit to have work done. I will however follow up with the recommended work to be done by this garage.
I have been using this garage now for a number of years and wont go anywhere else. Fantastic friendly customer service always. The guys are amazing and you wont find honesty like it in any other garage. This garage is a cut above any other.
Staff at this garage go above and beyond to try and resolve issues. They have always kept in touch and updated me as to when my car will be ready for collection and if they have encountered any problems. I trust this garage and would highly recommend them to others.
Excellent efficient and friendly
I have been really impressed by Sun Motors each time I’ve used them in the past couple of years. Recently, they were incredibly helpful and efficient when I had my catalytic converter stolen from my car. I would happily recommend them to anyone wanting work done at a fair and honest price
Safety is of paramount importance to me and I am one of those people that like things explained to me so I know my car is safe. I very much appreciate the care and attention taken and accommodating attitude of the owner and his staff. Nothing is too much trouble and the prices are reasonable too!

Dave and his team have always looked after both our family cars and my work van. Carrying out mayor repairs and MOT’s on all of them. The service that they provide is amazing. Even from the little things like text reminders informing me when things like MOT’s etc are due. Would not dream of taking my car anywhere else. Would Definitely recommend them!!

This is the Carlsberg of garages...David Anderson is no mere mechanic/engineer. He’s intelligent, trustworthy & really helpful. You’re not going to be ripped off here. Your car is going to be looked after by three men, David, Shane & Steve, who really know what they’re doing. They’ve been there a long time and are very impressive. I tell everyone about this place. I have complete confidence in what they do.
