I went in with a bearing noise. They replaced driver side front and this did not cure the fault and was told they need to do more work. There was no mention of cost so assumed would cost. Took my car to a Citroen expert to get locking wheel nuts removed to be told the passenger front bearing is faulty. So basically the garage repaired the wrong side. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Garage Response: Customer phoned, asking for price to supply and fit driver’s side wheel bearing on Citroen C5. Customer had taken vehicle to another garage prior and came with the fix. We quoted him a price of £102.00 to which he agreed and then brought his car in. The car was checked and inspected and the faulty bearing was fixed. After a road test, there was still a fault on the vehicle, which we suspected was the hub. While fitting the bearing there was no indication that the hub was faulty. It was not until after the bearing was fixed that this issue and other noises arose. I agreed to get the car back in to diagnose what the issue was, to which the customer agreed, asking what the cost would be. I explained that the cost would be the cost of the parts only and no other cost. The customer agreed to bring the car in the following week. The day before the car was due to be brought back, the customer called again to confirm the price. The customer was advised by me the price could not be confirmed until the diagnostic was completed.
