I find all Hockmeyer's staff friendly, trustworthy & efficient. They explain things clearly, they are honest and do not take advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge.

As a woman it is extremely important to me that I don't feel as though I'm being ripped off/patronised. I have found Kevin to be extremely helpful and straightforward and I'm very happy with all the work that has been carried out at Hockmeyers. Kevin was very helpful when my car broke down and I needed a new alternator - he got it sorted for me that day. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Excellent garage that I have regularly recommended to many people. All our family vehicles (3) are looked after by this garage even though it's 5 miles away and we have 3 garages in our village, it's worth the 10 mile round trip.

Honest, reliable, friendly. Three words to sum up what is probably the best garage I have ever used. Having been told by a VW main dealer that I needed a new cambelt, Hockmeyers spotted that the same dealer had replaced the belt 20,000 miles ago and so saved me several hundred pounds on unnecessary work. I can't commend them highly enough for ringing and telling me this.

Truly exceptional customer service from Kevin and the team. I was greeted by name as I was about to enter the service centre, kept fully informed throughout as the job was taking longer than anticipated, driven home whilst the work was carried out, I forgot to take my house key so they drove out again to drop it off for me and delivered my car home when it was done, trusting that I would drop in and pay when I could. Having a one year old with me and with my husband being away with the RAF, the service they provided was second to none and I was surprised at the very low price. Will use you again without hesitation and will recommend to anyone. Once again huge thanks for your exceptional service!

I called in "on spec" at 1pm 50 miles from home as my car was making strange noises ( I had called my breakdown provider to discover that my cover had lapsed). Kev the service manager stopped what he was doing to take a look straight away and diagnosed a faulty water pump and suggested an immediate repair might be a good idea. He telephoned two different suppliers to locate the right part at the best price and informed me that he could get the job done by 5pm if I wanted. Kev quoted me a "worst case" price and even offered to lend me a car for the afternoon. On picking up the car the price was slightly below the figure quoted and I was back on the road. This is probably the best service I have experienced in 38 years of motoring - and I cover a lot of miles - so well done Kev and team and thank you so much for all your help! I would recommend you to anyone looking for good service at a fair price. Paul K.

Hockmeyer have serviced and MOT'd all of our cars for several years. Kevin and the team are always very helpful and they are completely trustworthy as they never "rip" us off and are always very accommodating.

I won't go anywhere else. Kevin gives really good customer service. He knows that it is really important for me to have my car and will work late if necessary to get it finished. Can't fault this garage.
