We took our car into a very well known garage chain (no names mentioned) and were told the turbo had gone and the repair would be £1,000, I facebooked out for local garages to take the car to for a second opinion and the name of Red Oak Garage was recommended to me. They agreed to take a look at the car straight away, we left it and within half an hour had a call back with a best and worst case scenario and a price on both options, neither of which included a new turbo!!!!!!! By 10am the next morning we got a call saying it was the best case option and the work would be done that day and the cost was less than £400....... OUTSTANDING service........... we have two merc's, both old but we will be putting all our business there way in future. :)
I am so pleased with the work and attitude of all staff. I have even written to Diesel Car magazine about them. They really know what they are doing, and I am a retired engineer, so I know what I want!!
