The garage carried out a major service and MOT and checked out an oil leak. After dropping the car off, the garage owner drove after me 5 minutes later, to tell me the oil leak was caused by having no oil filler cap (my fault after recently topping up oil recently). He told me he'd order a new cap, but wouldn't arrive till following day. The cost for the new cap was £7.50, and they didn't charge for clearing out all the oil under the bonnet that had sprayed everywhere. The car passed its MOT with a couple of advisories, other garages would have pushed to get this work carried out even though not necessary for 6 months or so. The bill cost exactly what I was quoted and included a full breakdown of every part used and labour costs, which he talked through with me. To sum up, a brilliant service. A garage you can trust to do the right thing with your car.
