There are a lot of local garages to use but I like to use Manders because it is near, they are straight up with you regarding what needs to be done & the best option to do it & they are friendly & competent to deal with. I personally rate this garage as excelent

We have been going to Manders garage for 12 years and they have always provided us with a friendly service every time. They are always very accommodating and professional.
Manders always provides a friendly, polite and efficient service. I have used the garage for a number of years and have come to realise that I can always rely on them to do a good job at a reasonable price.
Best garage I have come across in a long time, they are friendly, reliable and affordable.I live a good 15 miles away and this is still the garage I prefer to use.

Meanders fit me in at very short notice, same day, when my clutch gave up. They were very honest in explaining the process, kept me up to date on the progress and were cheaper than the original, estimate price. Peter even showed me the article that had caused all of the damage. I would highly recommend and wouldn't think twice about going there again.
Manders garage have an agreement of 25% discount off air con, re gas and deodoriser to members of a specific local gym. I took my car in for the air con re gas etc and paid full amount, less than an hour later noticed that as a gym member I could have had discount. The garage closed at 4pm Friday therefore too late to call so queried the next day only to be told a voucher should have been presented at the time. Gym advise there is no voucher you just have to be a member of the gym. Seems a little harsh considering the amount of money I have over the years spent with them as a valued customer I would have expected this to be recognised and reimburse as a goodwill gesture.
Excellent garage. Quick and friendly service with reasonable prices. I would recommend this garage to anybody.

I have been going to Manders for over 20 years and have always found them very accommodating and fair when it comes to charging...I have to use a main agent with my company vehicle its so much more pleasant to be able to deal with the person fixing your car instead of a computer..
Manders were able to fit me in at very short notice to replace the clutch,they did the work quicker than they said and £50 less than the quote they all so repaired the wing mirror without being asked and at no charge.
I continue to be impressed by the quality of service offered by Manders Garage. I am confident that the courtesy and clarity of communication skills offered by management and clerical staff is backed up by the engineering and technical team who in my experience always do the work to a high standard. Any problems are inevitably discussed with customers in an open and honest way.

Have used Manders Garage for number of years and have always found it to be very reliable. Staff courteous and things explained if necessary. Being a female I have every confidence in this garage not to 'rip me off' as I have experienced being 'ripped off in the past.
I was Quoted £156 for replacement of both front coil springs on 54 polo. (My Daughters car). I was contacted shortly after dropping the car in, and was told that both the anti roll bar links had had to be cut off due to being seized. My Daughter went to collect her car and was presented with a bill for £241 She was shown the cut links. The replacement anti roll bar links were £34 incl vat. Add that to the quoted £156 gives £190 There was a side light bulb also replaced. Cost £1. I was told that there had been no charge for fitting. I went to question the bill the next day and was shown the anti roll bar links. A nut had been cut off on one end of each. I was told the discrepancy of £50 was made up by 1/2 hour labour EACH SIDE to remove the links! This extra 1/2 hour per side, is of course, on top of the time already allowed (and paid for) for the removal of the links in the original quote. How long does it take to cut through 2 nuts. At Manders, it takes an hour! Despite being very disappointed and this being a negative review, I have tried to be as fair and balanced as possible. (All prices rounded up or down to the closest £)
Over the years, we have used manders to service and MOT our cars. We are very pleased with the service that they offer. Also, we very much like dealing with a small, local firm.

Excellent service. We visited Manders Garage after other garages had failed to fix problems. All problems fixed immediately and explained to us in advance of any work carried out. Have visited them on a number of occasions and we drive up from Cambridge to visit them as we know can trust them and the work they do. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
