Paul could not have been more helpful and fitted me in at short notice before a long drive. He has made my car a pleasure to drive (something a main dealer were unable to do last week) and was very reasonably priced.

Paul tells you what you need done and never does a thing that does not need doing. If it needs doing, he calls and explains why it needs to be done. If I have a question, he never talks down to me like other garages have done to me in the past.

Seemed honest and provided me with all the information I asked for. Was very helpful and did not do any work he believed to be unnecessary - I believe this because I asked him to change certain things, which would have been costly and he stated that they did not need to be changed at this time.

First class service.

After trying a local garage when I first moved to Dundee, I was finding that each time I left the mechanics I was handed a new 'to do list' for my car, and advising that I needed welding work underneath. My concerns were raised when I had a service done on my car and they didn't touch the oil section because they wanted to 'save my pocket', when that is one of the basics. But they were happy to advise me that my timing chain was about to go and I should consider getting a new car, to which they helpfully added they do finance! Although an old car, I wanted a second opinion and found Paul Bowers Motors through this scheme. I have not been to any other garage since. Paul gave me a lot of new hope for the car, which as a student on a limited income is what was more realistically helpful compared to other garage strategies. On two occasions I was able to bring my car in at short notice and have minor work done like two front bearings replaced, and a service. Car maintenance can be such a headache when you're new to an area, especially when you're a student or on a low income and every penny is an investment. So finding a mechanic like Paul through this scheme has been such a help. He is super helpful and will keep it simple for you and your wallet!

Used this garage for a few years now because of excellent service. Paul explains what he has done (if anything needs doing) and is not in the least bit patronising because I am a women. Have recommended this garage to a few friends.
