After having purchased a BMW M3 from top Gear, I discovered the rhs foot wells were becoming increasingly damp and even puddling in the rear one. I took it back and told Marc, whereupon he cleaned out the scuttles which had become filled with dead leaves etc and hoovered out the water. he said that should solve the problem but if it continues to come straight back. The following week we had heavy rain and I realised the car was still leaking, I returned to the garage. After visiting various forums and my husband sitting in the car for hours watching where the water was coming in, we decided we thought it was a leaky windscreen. Returning to the garage Marc immediately rang his windscreen fix it man and booked the car in for the following Tuesday to have thw windscreen re-sealed. This was conveniently done at my work place and at no cost to me, all covered by warranty. Unfortunately when the windscreen was removed it cracked so I had to have a new one, which I am sure was very costly. What impressed me the most was the attitude of Marc to solving the problem and that whatever needed to be done to fix it would be. Having dealt with many garages over the years this does not happen regularly in my experience. In fact on one occasion I had to threaten court action, with a garage in Bargoed, when the car I brought had a broken rear suspension. I can not praise Marc and his staff highly enough, they truly deserve to be in the Good Garage Scheme. Keep it up lads.

I have always had a very professional and extremely helpful experience at Top Gear when using them for tyres and MOTs but having purchased a cheap runabout from then with a months warranty, the alternator broke. As the month was almost elapsed and the car on a 52 plate has done 120k miles I thought I would be on my own. With consummate professionalism they took the car in, replaced the alternator and exceeded, in my opinion, their own high standards of customer service. If only all car sales and repair facilities were of this standard there would be no need for Trading Standards. Well done boys, keep up the good work.
